Today MaestroBD is one of the best shibari teacher in italy, performer in many fetish party and events through Europe. "La Regina Nera" and "Decadence" in Italy, “Boundcon” in Monaco and Austria, “RopeFest” and "MoscowKnot" in Russia, “Xplore” in Berlin are few of the international presence dates.
Is the only Italian to Perform during O-nawa Asobi Shibari festival in Tokyo.

Davide La Greca - AKA MaestroBD - was born in 1971 in Rome, lives and work in Italy.
In 90's Davide finds the Bondage out, that opens his path to the BDSM, since this Epiphany the decision came to share the culture linked to this delicate subject as an art. So he immediately started to work on the esibitions along with the didactic, obtaining a constant good reaction, in Italy and Abroad.
Certified Istructor of Yukimura Ryu, teach this particular style and share the knoledge about traditional Shibari and Kinbaku.

Shibari: Art, Intimacy, and Safety
(Freitag: 19.30 bis 20.30)

A practical workshop on the art of Shibari, where you can teach the basics of rope tying with a focus on safety,  while also exploring the emotional and relational aspects that this practice brings. You could include sections dedicated to the emotional connection between the people involved, and how the art of rope can be a means of intimate communication as well as an aesthetic expression.

Shibari is a Japanese practice that combines the art of rope bondage with an exploration of the connection between the one who ties and the one who is tied. It’s not just about immobilizing someone, but rather creating a unique aesthetic, emotional, and sensory experience. The workshop “Shibari: Art, Intimacy, and Safety” is an opportunity to discover how ropes can become a tool of expression, communication, and trust, all while maintaining a rigorous focus on safety.
For those unfamiliar with BDSM or Shibari, it’s  important to understand that this practice is built on mutual awareness and explicit consent. In this workshop, we always begin with the basics: how to handle ropes, safe knot techniques, and the areas of the body to avoid to
prevent injury. Safety is the absolute priority at every step.
However, Shibari is not just a physical technique. One of the most fascinating aspects we explore is the emotional connection between the people involved. The person tying and the person being tied establish a deep intimacy through non-verbal communication made of gestures, tension, and attention to detail. The ropes become a form of physical communication: every knot, every tie can express protection, care, desire, or play. This workshop encourages participants to see ropes not just as tools of restraint but as ways to explore the dynamics of shared emotions and sensations.
Moreover, we delve into the aesthetic aspect of the practice. The ties are not just functional;
they can transform into visual art, creating geometries and forms that enhance the body in an elegant and sensual way. But behind this beauty is a process of trust: the person being tied must completely rely on the other, while the one tying must be aware and attentive,
creating a safe and welcoming environment.
In the workshop, there will be practical moments where participants will learn basic tying techniques and how to manage the emotional dynamics that emerge. Additionally, we will explore how both tying and being tied can lead to a deeper understanding of oneself and
one's relationship with others.
Ultimately, this workshop is open to anyone interested in exploring this form of art, regardless of prior experience, and aims to convey not only the technical skills but also the respect, care, and intimacy that lie at the heart of Shibari.
