Biography

Today MaestroBD is one of the best shibari teacher in italy, performer in many fetish party and events through Europe. "La Regina Nera" and "Decadence" in Italy, “Boundcon” in Monaco and Austria, “RopeFest” and "MoscowKnot" in Russia, “Xplore” in Berlin are few of the international presence dates.
Is the only Italian to Perform during O-nawa Asobi Shibari festival in Tokyo.

Davide La Greca - AKA MaestroBD - was born in 1971 in Rome, lives and work in Italy.
In 90's Davide finds the Bondage out, that opens his path to the BDSM, since this Epiphany the decision came to share the culture linked to this delicate subject as an art. So he immediately started to work on the esibitions along with the didactic, obtaining a constant good reaction, in Italy and Abroad.
Certified Istructor of Yukimura Ryu, teach this particular style and share the knoledge about traditional Shibari and Kinbaku.

In this workshop, we will explore how Shibari can be used as a tool to deepen one's sexuality in a safe and mindful way. Through the intimacy of rope bondage, participants will be guided in the discovery of their own desires, limits, and personal boundaries, with a focus
on the concept of negotiation and consent.
Shibari is not just an aesthetic practice but a deep form of communication based on mutual trust and care. During the workshop, we will learn how ropes can become a means to explore fantasies and desires, in a context that respects and values the safety and emotions
of each participant.
With practical exercises and moments of reflection, this workshop offers a safe and welcoming environment where each participant can connect with their own sexuality and that of others, through a journey of discovery and awareness.

 

This workshop is dedicated to those who wish to discover how Shibari can become a tool for exploring their sexuality in a safe and mindful way, deepening the connection between body, mind, and desires. For many people, Shibari may seem like just an aesthetic rope-tying
practice, but in reality, it is a profound and intimate form of communication that allows one to explore their fantasies, desires, and personal boundaries. In this workshop, we will focus on how to use ropes not only to create safe ties but also as a tool to better understand one’s limits and to discover new aspects of one's sexuality.
Shibari is based on fundamental principles such as consent and negotiation. Before starting any practice, it is essential to establish open and clear communication with the other person, where each person's limits and desires are respected and understood. During the workshop,
ample space will be given to reflection on these aspects, teaching participants how to negotiate and establish boundaries in a clear and respectful manner. This is a key element in BDSM and Shibari, as mutual trust is the foundation of any interaction. The goal is to create
a safe and protected space where desires and fantasies can be explored without feeling judged.
The practical part of the workshop will consist of learning basic rope-tying techniques, with particular attention to the physical and emotional safety of the participants. It’s not just about learning how to tie knots, but about discovering how the tension of the ropes, the rhythm of
the ties, and physical contact can facilitate an intimate and sensory connection between the people involved. Shibari can be an extremely sensory experience, where each tie, each movement, and each knot can lead to greater awareness of one's body and desires. The
ropes thus become a means of expressing care, protection, and desire, facilitating non-verbal communication that goes beyond words.
This workshop will also offer the opportunity to reflect on personal boundaries, helping participants explore their own limits and understand how to communicate them clearly and safely.
